... had this on my mp3 stick on my way home tonight -- album 'no solace in sleep'. Yes, I missed my bus at 3am just by one minute after I left my club 'kir' quite early this time. Usually, I only bear this by having the chance to escape to the little back room playing table soccer. Anyhow, got a slight strain trauma (anyhow, while having the funniest game ever) and decided to abandon the place. So I had nearly half an hour to listen to Aarktika lying on a bench at Hamburg Altona bus station, wondering what part in the chain didn't suffice: my ears, my earphones, the mp3 stick, the mp3 encoding itself, or even the master recording, possibly. Something seemed quite not perfect, but maybe this is by design? Oh, seems I'm blogging, despite my ideology to post rather objective information in the projects/artists thread. But who cares... Aarktika seems to be a good example of what people call 'glacial ambient'. Have to put this on the stream and make my mind about it some other time...

Today the broadcasting software froze again, sorry. I did not make as much progress as planned migrating to ezstream because I need to re-encode the complete music library to 192 kbit/s.
