an iniciative "against the Loudness War"
CrepusculaR
Maybe you know the site of "The Pleasurize Your Music Foundation", their proposal its very interesting (and healthy if you ask me) concerning the loudness war ( the mercyless race to made records 'louder than others' as a product of commercial musical marketing, among other causes). In few and synthetic words, they go for the progressive abolition of the overcompressed musical records of our days to bring back the natural dynamic range of the vinyl and firsts cds.
They provide logos for releases with a pleasant dynamic range.
No need for more explanations, just take a look at :http://www.dynamicrange.de and you will catch the point.

=)

Do you think Vol. 2 is mastered hot? If you see the waveforms you could get anxious, but listening to it, it sounds good.

Oops... the dark ambient playlist was a little contaminated with another style on the backup system. Hope this didn't bother you too much. Cool

... stream is running over mobile network now. Technicians are working on it. Maybe it's because they dig a trench in front of the house...

That's because, for maximum quality, I want to re-encode from the source (mostly CD) in cases where I have only 128 kbit/s mp3s.
