ANNOUNCEMENT: The Official Volume 2 Thread
vile
Hahaha *busted*

It is actually Mytrip and Deflax only, but Arkhitektur Noir is another Bulgarian project so let's hope we'll have a stronger representation of our local activities this time in the compilation Grin

I remember once posting a thread about Deflax's "Mirrors" here, but couldn't recall if I asked you about adding it to the playlist of the radio. So if you want to do it, it will be great Grin

Evokee Scurvee is now Aspectee btw. (see http://www.myspace.com/aspectee)

I haven't heard anything from Ah Cama-Sotz by now.

Anyone else planning to upload sounds to fileden? I saw Ahnst has uploaded a nice 6:24 minutes sequence.

Yet, it's not enough for a mix, but looking forward for more contributions to the track. Smile

PS: For those who joined the comp only recently and don't have the password, just ask me for it!

PPS: After looking into my mail account I have to correct myself: It's already Ahnst's track contribution for the comp that he uploaded to fileden!

Just stumbled upon some good stuff on your myspace page and apart from your tracks I added to the stream, I thought an ivlab song would make a good addition to the compilation, especially as you were quite active on comps before. Cheers!

That's why I thought it's for Crepuscular's collaboration initiative. Isn't quite as spectacular as his tracks in the streams playlist. I have put it in my review playlist to hear how it works if it hits me from behind without me knowing what track it is at first, so I'll let you know when I have made up my mind about it.

I kinda need more power in this track, from technical view, I had to increas the volume of my speakers quite a lot to hear everything. And considering the track as a composition I'd say I find it finished enough, you can definitely feel a gradation. And what I find special is that disturbing anxiety that fills the song. This balance between something sounding and something maybe coming or not in my view is what makes it special. Like you never know if something's coming for you... or not. In this sense the end of the track could be even more schizophrenic but everything depends on the author. We're not here to tell anybody how their music should sound, we're here to produce and discuss! So to summarize we've got quite an impressive start with the song collection for Vol. 2, it will be definitely a challenging sampler!

After all that babble -- which didn?t get us anywhere, nor did it deliver any results -- I would propose we focus on the music instead, submit it, and then have a couple of tracks selected. It seems everybody is picturing his contribution on the album already. First of all, you ought to deliver proper work. Everything else will follow.

i agree with Tektonic, my complete exclusive and complete track (no sample of 1 min) is ready to be add in the compilation...i would like that my track be used as independent track and i would like also to hear others songs of other artist as independent songs.
anyway i will send mine in the next days, up to homemaster to decide is we will have various tracks of various artist or 1 long-track of various artist.

Ok, so that nothing will be confused anymore, I have created two folders in the fileden file area:

Zitat

MAIN FOLDER
Upload your track for the comp to the main folder -- be it first drafts or
final versions. It would be helpful, if your files contain your project name,
track name (if you don't have one already, assign a working title), and,
if applies, a version number.

PATCHWORK INITIATIVE
Upload 1-minute sounds to be used for CrepusculaR's patchwork initiative
to the Patchwork Initiative folder.

COLLABORATION INCUBATOR
Upload anything else that is not a complete song, such as sound samples
and song fragments, to this folder to have others take notice of it and
possibly add their ideas to it so that a collaboration track may emerge
out of it.

Make sure to use 96kHz/32bit (or at least 96kHz/24bit) wav file format.

Please make backups of each version you upload. Theoretically anyone
could delete anything (not that I expect any destructive behavior here,
but would be better anyhow).

Download anything you like and comment in the forum as you feel!

Ok, yes I am in Smile

And the Mac will be sold today, so I will also use a new fresh PC and a brand new (ext) soundcard as well for the upcoming works!

The webspace transfer included some kind of archaeological reconstruction. Bear with me.

Going to move the webspace. If something behaves weird the next days, you know why.
