Here’s the third album from my project, Malamati. It’s often described as too noisy or industrial to be pure dark ambient. The first album was actually a toned-down version of what was originally intended to sound more in the vein of Atrax Morgue, Gnaw Their Tongues or even straight-up funeral doom so it can be hard to categorize at times. That’s why I prefer calling it post-industrial - it gives me room to channel all my ambient, drone, industrial and noise influences without having to start a new project every time.
This album is more straight-forward and should appeal to fans of old-school acts like Brighter Death Now, Coil and Deutsch Nepal. It can be streamed on Bandcamp or Spotify and is also available as a free download via Bandcamp. Thanks for giving it a listen.
