"Approaching Silence" is a compilation album of ambient music by David Sylvian (along with Frank Perry and Robert Fripp) collecting the two tracks from the 1991 limited release "Ember Glance" installation soundtrack as well as a third from the 1994 installation "Redemption".
It was released on October 5, 1999 on Virgin Records.
