It will happen on October 26 and so far confirmed are:
Vestigial, Galerie Schallschutz, Schloss Tegal. I think I came across some posts from the Phelios page saying that he's considering also to play a set besides curating the event. |

General: the temperature was comfortable (I mention only because of the very bad experiences 2 years ago... ;-) The appeared to me louder that in the last years, I considerd more then onece to use my ear plugs, and one time i used them actually.
Some videos were a bit too flickery to me, like a stroboskope, but that is a personal opinion, maybe, i am getting old. Sadly, Phelios had no video, his music was very nice, sometimes not so very dark ambient in the strict sense, and a video could have been the perfect completion for his show. Anyway, I liked it.
As ususal, I liked some acts more than others, the best act to me was Vestigial (hope, I do not insult the others).
But Schloss Tegal... hmmm, what can i say about that...? The videos: disgusting or at least trying to be so. The musicians: dressed in a white robe, face veiled, a hood on the head. With a bit good will, he looked like a surgeon, and the woman like a nurse. With a bit bad will... Except for the usual electronics, they hat a flute, made of a bone... what for a bone? Very strange that.... I assume, it was ?art? - otherwise.... Do I misunderstand something? Or can someone explain to me, what this was? |
